Mr. Hemendra Kothari (Chairman)
Founder, Chairman and Trustee of the Hemendra Kothari Foundation, Hemendra Kothari represents the fourth generation of a family of prominent stockbrokers. As a trustee of the Lilavati Hindu Sanitorium Mr Kothari has continued to the legacy of his forefathers ensuring that the health and well-being of the general public is upheld by offering the serene premises at an economical rate for those looking for a healthful environment to recover from illness (in particular breathing ailments) and surgeries. As Former President of the Bombay Stock Exchange, Kothari founded DSP Financial Consultants Limited which later became DSP Merrill Lynch Ltd. He served as its Chairman till 2009 and is currently the Chairman of DSP Investment Managers Private Limited. A board member of several industrial companies, Kothari is associated with the Confederation of Indian Industry. Keenly involved in environmental, educational, health and cultural initiatives, he is founder and chairman of the Wildlife Conservation Trust. He is also Member of the Rajasthan State Board for Wildlife, the National Tiger Conservation Authority (NTCA), the Advisory Council of the Global Tiger Forum (GTF), and The Energy and Resources Institute (TERI) Governing Council; and the India Chairman of TNC-The Nature Conservancy Centre.
Mr. Yogesh Kothari (Trustee)
Founder, and Trustee of the Kusumben & Baba Sheth Kothari Charitable Trust in the name of his parents thru’ which he helps needy people for education of their children and also Medical help in most deserving cases. Yogesh Kothari along with his brother Hemendra Kothari represents the fourth generation of a family of prominent stockbrokers. Yogesh Kothari has diversified from his family business of stock broking and has founded a Speciality Chemicals Company – Alkyl Amines Chemicals Ltd. Which is listed on the Stock Exchange.
Mr. Kothari is a Chemical Engineer and did his graduation from Institute of Chemical Technology – ICT (earstwhile UDCT), Mumbai and subsequently obtained Masters in Chem. Engg. He also did his Masters in Management Science from University of Massachusetts, Lowell. As on date, he is actively involved with ICT on various aspects.
Mr. Suneet Kothari (Trustee)
Mr. Suneet Kothari – son of Mr. Yogesh Kothari is an Executive Director – Alkyl Amines Chemicals Ltd. He is also a Trustee in the Kusumben & Baba Sheth Kothari Charitable Trust founded by his father.
He has done his Bachelor of Arts and Science from Cornell University and Masters in Business Administration from INSEAD.
He is actively involved in the family trusts founded in the name of his forefathers.
